Little Fishes
The 100 year-old Nels has been residing in a Minneapolis nursing home for three years, being tended to by, and matching wits with, the much younger Brad, one of the playfully sadistic employees. Brad is every bit as confused about his own future and death as Nels. Pipe, a Chippewa Native American, tries to reconcile the wreckage of his family with the lessons of his grandfather through caring for Nels and abuse of peyote. It snows as a kind of benediction but is Pipe as responsible as he believes?
